(3) International education at our school

In today's globalized society, Hokuryo High School believes that in addition to understanding the cultures of other countries, it is important to take the initiative in learning how to live as a member of the international community. Our goal is to foster students with a global perspective and the ability to take independent action through interaction with people of various languages, cultures, religions, and values. All students, regardless of grade or course, have the opportunity to interact with high school students from overseas, providing opportunities for all students to expand their horizons. In addition to a study trip to Australia for all students in the second grade, the school also offers exchange programs with many visiting schools abroad, such as our sister school TISKL in Malaysia, and for students who want to further their education, we offer several short-term study abroad programs, including the Cambridge Language Program in England. We also offer the "Hokuryo Homestay System," a registration system that allows students to practice international exchange while living their daily lives in Japan. In this way, we aim to encourage students to open their eyes to the world, embrace diversity, and express themselves to people of other cultures without fear. Hokuryo High School creates an environment where students can challenge their own potential.
